Apologies for my sporadic blogging of late. It would seem that after a weeks worth of illness, a very long weekend and three days spent chasing after kids can really take it out of you. Working these past three days after having a week & a half off has left me feeling exhausted. I'm counting on two good nights of rest & a double dose of vitamin c to restore some normalcy.
This weekend I'm being true to myself and keeping it simple. My diary reads like this:

Saturday ~

~ Morning snuggles with Lolly
~ Do hand washing
~ Visit bestie (drink some tea)
~ Buy the groceries
~ Grab a coffee with muma & papa
~ Spend the evening on the lounge watching movies

Sunday ~

~ Sunday breakfast ( Homemade tofu scramble on english muffins)
~ Make a pot of tea
~ Have a cook of with muma dearest
~ Dinner date with the fiancé

Taking time out to do nothing sometimes is of great importance to me. Normal everyday small things are the most beautiful afterall. I wore this outfit last weekend frolicking about in the country, picnicking & crunching fallen leaves under my feet.
What are you doing this weekend?

Preferably Pink...

When it's cold outside and the sky is of a light grey. I instantly feel like wearing something:

a) Pretty
b) Pastel
c) Pink

Wearing pink can cheer me up on the dreariest of dreary days. Pink is calming, pink is that beautiful bunch of tulips that your love sends you, pink suits my pale complexion, pink speaks to the inner child in me, pink is a breath of fresh air in an all black dwelling fashion scene. Pink is my favourite colour. I say there is no better way to show off your favourite colour then by dressing up in a darling little vintage frock.

Feeling all tickled pink I didn't stop there. Nope, I went to second base & teamed my flirty little number with knee high socks, vintage Nana flats & a sparkly bold bow for sincere prep-school perfection!

Whats your special colour?
